Legion of Mary

Been to the Legion of Mary in St Margaret's, it was great. The Legion of Mary is meaningful, they have to do some service for others every week. They were great, they have their work but they give up their time to help others. I doubt if I can do so. It is difficult for me to take some regular service. I want to join the this society, which can bring me close to God and maintain my Catholic life. However, I might not join as the Church is far away from my home, and most importantly, I think I cannot keep my promise. Maybe, I should join other groups like the choir or the arm collect...

In the "meeting", I learnt that St. Paul Secondary School is a very good school. Some of the ladies came from paul sec, they were good at speaking in English. All prayers are to speak in English , it is hard for me, my first time you know! But, I felt it quite good. In the future, if i have a daughter, i must send her to paul sec. In the school, you can be a good catholic and learn more about God's words. I appreciated the ladies' word of God, they have the sense of being a catholic. Their school can help the girls to bulid up the sense of belonging to school, and even to the God. The school also promote a lot of catholic activites for the girls, that's why the girls love God and can live in their catholic's life.

Wahyan once gave me a lot, the leardership, sense of belonging to school, freedom, creativity, orderness, tennis skills, but nothing about catholicism. I found nothing about God in the school lessons in wahyan, only from the bible and the ethics lesson.

I love the Legion of Mary, the order just like the Roman Army. Their meetings have to following step by step by their hand book. I like their aim, like the spirit of wahyan: Be a man for others. I wanna to be a social worker because I want to help others. I once want to become a teacher as it can help and teach the children, our next generation.

But, it's only my dream..

I wish...I can rely on God and not to disobey God's words.

Our Father in heaven, holy be your Name, your kingdom come, your will be done on earth as in heaven. Give us today our daily bread. Forgive us our sins as we forgive those who sin against us. Do not bring us to the test but deliver us from evil. Amen
